Terms of Use
Effective Date: September 12, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before exploring or placing orders with Cargo Rugs.
Acceptance & Scope of Agreement
By accessing, browsing, or completing a purchase through Cargo Rugs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use and our associated store policies. These conditions apply to all visitors, buyers, interior design partners, and retail clients across Canada and internationally.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue your use of our catalog platform and services immediately.
Products, Material Tolerances & Sizing
Cargo Rugs specializes in handcrafted, flatwoven, high-pile, and machine-woven floor coverings. Due to the artisanal weaving and natural dye processes utilized in rug manufacturing:
- Dimension Variance: Hand-loomed and knotted rugs may exhibit linear dimensional variances of up to ±3% from stated measurements.
- Color Representation: Subtle variations in natural wool, jute, or cotton fibers can produce slight color nuances compared to digital screens.
- Initial Shedding: Natural fiber rugs, particularly wool blends, naturally shed loose micro-fibers during initial weeks of use. This is not a structural defect.
Pricing, Currency & Taxes
All listed prices on the Cargo Rugs catalog are presented in Canadian Dollars (CAD / C$) unless expressly indicated otherwise. Applicable provincial and federal taxes (GST/HST/PST) are calculated and itemized during final checkout based on the delivery destination.
Shipping, Carrier Transit & Delivery
We partner with established freight and courier carriers (including Canada Post, FedEx, and DHL) to ensure secure delivery across all Canadian provinces and territories.
Dispatch times typically range from 24 to 48 business hours for in-stock rugs. Large oversize carpets or custom runner orders may require tailored freight appointment scheduling.
Customer Inspection & Return Rights
Customers are requested to inspect parcels upon arrival. Any shipping damages or manufacturing anomalies must be reported to our customer service desk within 48 hours of carrier drop-off.
Eligible returns must remain unused, wrapped in protective protective packaging, and accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase in accordance with our return guidelines.
Intellectual Property & Content Rights
All catalog images, weave pattern descriptions, branding assets, interface design layouts, and technical data presented on Cargo Rugs are the exclusive property of Cargo Rugs and protected by Canadian copyright and trademark law. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial scraping is strictly prohibited.
Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, Cargo Rugs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from improper floor installation, misuse of floor rugs, or maintenance outside specified care guidelines.
Governing Law & Inquiries
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the applicable provincial statutes without regard to conflict of law provisions.
